LOCATION

Terrace View is located in the wonderful wine-growing region of Hawke’s Bay. Maraekakaho Village is the closest settlement, while Hastings is a 25 minute drive away. Maraekakaho offers a number of accommodation options, two cafes and a craft brewery with wood-fired pizzas in a beautiful country setting. There are plenty of stunning photo opportunities both at the private venue and around the district.

VENUE

Set on a terrace above the river, Terrace View offers 180-degree views of vineyards and landscapes. The architecturally designed building blends with the surrounds and enhances the local landscape. It's perfect for both cozy winter weddings by the outdoor fire, to throwing open the folding doors and basking on the patio in the Hawke’s Bay summer sun. We recommend between 40-120 guests (including the bridal party) and bands/DJs can perform indoors or outdoors. Additional guests can be accommodated under a casual seating arrangement or with a marquee installation. A portable speaker and microphone are provided for speeches and background music. Caterers have access to a kitchen with a chiller, and there's a beautiful bar area with glassware for serving guests.

‘simple, yet Classy’ package

Our original package (designed for up to 120 guests) with new inclusions to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. This package essentially has all the items onsite required for your wedding at the venue, including provided Bar Staff & Duty Manager!

You are able to source and supply your own beverages and catering teams, meaning you can choose your favourite beverage & food items within your chosen budgets. With the venue set up, pack down & bar staff included, just bring along your chosen arch/ decorations, beverages & loved ones to celebrate.

‘tailored’package

This Package is designed for those who would like to spend more time around the wedding day relaxing & making memories with their friends & family. From exquisite ‘formal-style’ weddings to cocktails & Canapés, turn up for your finest celebration knowing that the venue, catering & bar have been thoughtfully taken care of.

This is a personalized package, where you select from our options a tailored beverage & catering menu for your day, is designed for 60-120 guests (including the bridal party). Guest numbers over 120 are possible- please contact us for options.

An onsite Venue Assistant is provided, while experienced Wedding Management teams are recommended for those wanting to savour each special moment with their family & friends stress-free.

We offer competitive beverage pricing while aiming to support both local and kiwi businesses. Our Beverage Service Package includes a Minimum Spend Requirement & Catering Packages are from $70- $135 per guest.

How do I sort wedding planning/ caterers/ photographers/ vendors/ companies

Hawke’s Bay is a very popular wedding destination. Therefore, there are a number of excellent vendors and businesses to choose from.

We have a recommended Vendors/ Suppliers List that is full of amazing Hawke’s Bay vendors that have previously been to Terrace View and have received great feedback from our couples

Can we have a rehearsal before the big day?

Definitely-Generally the Rehearsal is completed on the Day Prior unless otherwise required by either party

How can I get my guests to and from the venue?

There are a number of transport services available in Hawke’s Bay that can transport guests from Napier, Taradale, Hastings and Havelock North to the venue and back. These include Deco City buses, Tranzit, CAB4 and Black Rose Limos

How do I view/sign the Terms, Conditions, Payment Information and Hire Contract?

Please contact Terrace View for quotes and/or the full Terms and Conditions of the Hire Agreement/ Payment information. Once a date is requested and approved, a deposit invoice is issued & your date is secured on payment of this invoice.
